We need your help - any donation helps!

3864 Paradise Valley Rd., Fairfield, CA is the home of something I’ve poured my heart into for nearly the last two years — the Solano Wildlife Rescue and Education Center. Thank you to everyone who has supported us and helped make this dream possible. This project has truly been a labor of love, and we are so grateful for the community standing behind us. While preparing the property to become rescue-ready, Tony was injured when an older tractor he was using ran him over. Tony had been absolutely instrumental in getting the facility ready, and his accident has understandably slowed our progress and increased the costs of moving forward. Most importantly, we are incredibly thankful to share that Tony has now been released from the hospital after being in and out of the ICU and undergoing multiple surgeries. His major surgery days should be behind him for the next six months to a year, though he will still need additional procedures in the future to remove the plate in his clavicle and the hardware in his feet. He has at least five more weeks before he can begin weight-bearing, and his feet are not completely out of the woods yet — time will tell. At the end of the day, Tony still has his hands to weld and, most importantly, his life.   We appreciate any donation that helps us move closer to becoming fully rescue-ready for wildlife in need. Thank you again to everyone who has walked beside us, offered help, and supported both Tony and the Solano Wildlife Rescue and Education Center through this journey. We are taking things one step at a time and doing our best to keep moving forward. — Amy
